China's Jan.-Feb. Crude Oil Output Up 1.9%
NextFin News -- China's crude oil output in January and February rose 1.9% year over year to 35.73 million tons, according to data released on Monday by the National Bureau of Statistics. The growth is compared to a decline of 0.6% in December 2025. The number also means the average daily output of 606,000 tons. Crude oil processing continued to grow. In January and February, the crude oil processing volume from large-scale industrial enterprises was 122.63 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%. Natural gas production showed stable growth. In January and February, the output of natural gas from large-scale industrial enterprises was 44.6 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%; the average daily output was 760 million cubic meters. Meanwhile, the output of raw coal from large-scale industrial enterprises was 760 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%, narrowing the decline by 0.7 percentage points compared to December 2025; the average daily output was 12.93 million tons. Crude oil production has shifted from decline to growth.
