TMTPOST — Caocao Mobility and Dazhong Transportation signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Monday to jointly explore Robotaxi services in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta. The partners will combine Caocao’s intelligent-driving technology and vehicle-operations systems with Dazhong’s urban-transport management and local service capabilities. Under a phased plan, the companies will first conduct joint Robotaxi demonstration operations covering operational licensing, fleet management, platform integration, ground support and safety protocols. Once regulatory and operating conditions permit, they intend to expand into larger-scale cooperative fleets, refining commercial models and service systems. Caocao will lead the full-stack Robotaxi technical solution and system architecture, while Dazhong contributes its established strengths in city-level vehicle operations and localized support. The collaboration aims to develop a scalable operating model for robotaxis in one of China’s densest urban corridors, supporting the broader development of intelligent connected vehicles in the region.
