Ant Financial's international payment arm WorldFirst announced the launch of category pricing mechanism today. Category pricing provides more affordable payment service for small and mid-sized online businesses to lower the operation cost, which is the first in the industry. Under this mechanism, a discount for the service fee will be given to international online businesses when receiving the payment. The discount (maximum 0.3% off) will be decided by the transaction volume. Established in 2004, WorldFirst is an international payment platform that became a subsidiary of Alibaba's Ant Financial in February 2019.
