Several Chinese mobile games achieve record-high revenue in March
Beijing, April 10 (TMTPOST) – Tencent’s PUBG Mobile amassed US$91 million in revenue in March 2020, according to the Top Mobile Games Worldwide by Publishers in China report released by mobile market research firm Sensor Tower. Several mobile games in China achieved record-high revenue in March, the report shows. AFK Arena from Lilith Games became the third most popular mobile game in South Korea in March, following local game titles Lineage 2M and Lineage M. AFK Arena’s overseas revenue also hit record-high thanks to its robust market performance in South Korea, making over US$38 million. COM④LOVES’ Houchi Shoujo achieved record-setting year-on-year growth of 80.5% in March, up 16.4% from February. Two mobile games for women broke revenue record in March, which are Chapters: Interactive Stories that targets the western market and The Kingdom and The Beauty of 37Games with a focus on the Japanese and Korean market. Besides, SLG mobile game State of Survival from FunPlus and Age of Z from CamelGames also broke their revenue record, up by 21.3% and 14.1% respectively from February.
