British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is considering following the Biden administration on restricting British tech investments in China. He is also seeking opinions from entrepreneurs and investors. U.S. President Joe Biden on Wednesday imposed restrictions on U.S. investments in China in order to limit China's capability in developing next-generation military and surveillance technologies that might threaten U.S. national security. The restrictions are designed to regulate U.S. investments in some Chinese semiconductor, quantum computing and artificial intelligence firms.
