Newborns in Central China’s Zhengzhou to Get Subsidy Check
ZHENGZHOU, September 5 (TMTPost) – The municipal government of Zhengzhou, the capital of central China’s Henan province, will hand out cash to families with newborns from September 1.
A family with their first newborn will receive 2,000 yuan. The subsidy will increase with the increasing number of children. The family will welcome their second kid with a check of 5,000 yuan and the cash handout to their third newborn will increase to 15,000 yuan.
According to the local policy, the cash handouts are designed to help families lower their costs in raising children.
