BEIJING, September 26 (TMTPost) -- China's maiden sea-crossing high-speed railway will start to transport passengers on Friday, according to China's National Railroads Corporation. The designed speed of the railway between Fuzhou, the capital city of southeastern China's Fujian province and Xiamen, a port city in the province, is 350 kilometres per hour. The travel time between the two metropolises has been cut to less than one hour.
