BEIJING, September 27 (TMTPost) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE)' Mubadala Investment Company has commenced operations in Beijing, the capital of China, according to China's national broadcaster CCTV. The Mubadala Investment Company is owned by the government of Abu Dhabi and operates as a sovereign wealth fund. The opening of the office marks the entry of Middle Eastern wealth funds into China. As of the end of June 2023, UAE's and Kuwait's sovereign wealth funds had invested in dozens of Chinese companies listed on stock exchanges in Chinese mainland.
