Green Light Given to 11 AI Large Models in China
BEIJING, November 6 (TMTPOST) – The second batch of artificial intelligence models, which consists of about 11 models, have completed their registration process with the Chinese regulator, bringing the total number of AI models registered to about 20. Some of the AI models have been accessible to users. About 10 AI models in the first batch were registered in late August. China has adopted the registration system, instead of approvals, to regulate the AI sector. The second batch of companies that built the models include internet company NetEase, financial institution Ant Group, social media platform Zhihu, software company WPS and online educational company TAL.
