BEIJING, November 6 (TMTPOST) – The Sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened its doors to guests from 154 countries, regions and international organizations in Shanghai on Sunday. The participants from 11 countries showed up in the annual expo for the first time and those from 34 countries attended offline activities for the first time. The China section of CIIE hit 2,500 square meters, the largest ever. 3,400 companies from 128 countries and regions joined the expo, including 289 Fortune Global 500 firms and industry leaders. Nearly 410,000 individuals have signed up for seeing the expo. The expo, which will last through Friday, will showcase a total of 400 new technologies, products and services. In the tech equipment section, 377 companies, including Intel, Qualcomm, AMD, Micron, TI, ASML, Samsung Electronics, display their technologies and products.
