SHCOMP Dips Below 3000 Points Again, Lowest Since Late October
BEIJING, December 5 (TMTPOST) -- The Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index fell 1.67% as of 2 pm Tuesday below the 3000-point threshold, the lowest since October 27. Nearly 4,400 stocks in the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets experienced a decline, with a few sectors, including the dairy and breeding industries, rallying. While the Shanghai index dropped, the Beijing Exchange Stock 50 Index moved against the trend, rising by more than 4%. But the trading volume of the Beijing Stock Exchange is small compared with two other bourses.
