BEIJING, January 10 (TMTPOST) – Country Garden, the largest private property developer by sales, delivered over 600,000 housing units in 2023, with a total delivery area of approximately 71.62 million square meters. Its footprint spans 249 cities across the country. The number of deliveries in 2023 was down from 700,000 in 2022, when the company ranked first in the industry in terms of delivery volume. In October 2022, the company said it cannot repay a 470 million Hong Kong dollar ($60 million) loan on time.
