Nanjing Eases Homebuying Restriction
BEIJING, January 8 (TMTPOST) – The Nanjing municipal government has removed the requirement of at least paying income tax in Nanjing for one year, opening the real estate market to anyone who has a job in the city.
The new rule will become effective on March 10.
Nanjing's move came after a number of cities, including Shanghai, Suzhou and Guangzhou, relaxed home purchase restrictions in a bid to prop up the sagging property market.
