TMTPOST – According to a report from market research firm Omdia, the data center storage market experienced a decline in 2023, primarily due to economic downturns and reduced IT spending. Storage revenue for the year totaled $53 billion, marking a 16% decrease compared to the previous year. However, Omdia projects a strong recovery, with data center storage revenue expected to climb to $103 billion by 2028. This forecast reflects robust growth in storage demand and an increase in average selling prices (ASP). The prediction includes revenue from both array and server-based external storage solutions.
