TMTPOST – The Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry has issued a final affirmative ruling in its anti-dumping investigation concerning polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin with a characteristic viscosity of ≥0.72 dL/g, originating from or imported from China. According to the announcement, the anti-dumping duty on PET resin produced by Wankai New Materials Co., Ltd., a Chinese manufacturer, will be increased from $15.54 per metric ton to $40.41 per metric ton. The anti-dumping duties for other Chinese producers and exporters will remain unchanged. The measures will continue to be in effect for the same duration as the current anti-dumping duties. The relevant Indian Customs codes for the affected products are 39076190 and 39076990.
