Asianfin--Baidu has successfully established a closed-loop intelligent agent ecosystem, according to Baidu Group Senior Vice President He Junjie at the 2024 Baidu Union Conference. He noted that the development threshold for intelligent agents is remarkably low, as Baidu's Wenxin Intelligent Agent Platform allows users to "create an intelligent agent with a single sentence." In terms of distribution, Baidu has streamlined pathways both within and outside its ecosystem, ensuring more efficient and seamless distribution of these agents. For monetization, Baidu is focused on leveraging AI to deliver substantial business value across industries. During the conference, Baidu also unveiled its first Intelligent Agent Alliance Solution, designed to help partners optimize their monetization strategies. Currently, more than 1.9 million enterprises, spanning 30 industries—including education, real estate, and machinery—are utilizing Baidu’s commercial intelligent agents. Baidu reported that over 20,000 intelligent agents on its Wenxin platform are actively helping developers generate revenue.
