Morgan Stanley's Private Equity Division Considering Sale of HVAC Firm Sila
TMTPOST--Morgan Stanley's middle-market buyout division is contemplating the sale of Sila Services, a residential services company that could be valued at approximately $1.5 billion, including debt, according to sources familiar with the situation. Based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Sila provides services such as heating, air conditioning, and plumbing, and is currently collaborating with investment bank William Blair on the sale process, with sources requesting anonymity due to the confidential nature of the matter. The firm could achieve a valuation of around 15 times its 12-month earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization, which is close to $100 million, the sources indicated.
