Asianfin--LG Electronics plans to introduce the RNGD chips from South Korean startup Furiosa AI into its own data centers in an effort to reduce reliance on Nvidia. Furiosa AI has already delivered two servers equipped with eight RNGD chips each to LG, where they are currently undergoing various tests to assess their compatibility with LG’s self-developed model, Exaone. The testing process is expected to be completed by the end of November 2024.
