Trump Team Assembles New Administration, Hints at Potential Roles for Elon Musk and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
TMTPOST -- Former President Donald Trump’s team is moving forward with plans to form a new administration, reportedly considering key advisers and cabinet members from Wall Street and corporate leadership, alongside officials from his previous term. In a sweeping Republican victory, the party has not only won the presidency but also taken control of the Senate, and currently leads in House seats over the Democrats. Trump’s new administration will involve around 4,000 government appointments, including over 20 cabinet members, who are expected to receive smooth Senate confirmations. On Thursday, Trump appointed his campaign manager, Susie Wiles, as White House Chief of Staff, making her the first woman to hold one of the most influential positions in Washington. Wiles will oversee Trump’s schedule and coordinate priority policies between the administration and Congress. Trump has also hinted at leveraging the expertise of high-profile figures like Elon Musk and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to advance specific policy agendas.
