TMTPOST -- Hytera Communications announced on November 8 that its Chilean subsidiary has successfully secured a contract to implement and manage the TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) communication system for the Chilean Carabineros, the country's national police force. The contract, valued at nearly $14 million, was signed recently. This project will enhance the communication capabilities of the Carabineros, ensuring secure and reliable radio communication for their operations. The implementation of the TETRA system is expected to improve operational efficiency and safety for Chile's law enforcement.
