TMTPOST -- Shanghai Yuanxin Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. has officially signed a memorandum of understanding with Brazil's state-owned telecommunications company, Telecomunicações Brasileiras S.A. (TELEBRAS), to provide satellite communication services in Brazil. Through this partnership, Yuanxin Satellite aims to offer broadband internet access to remote and underserved areas of Brazil, supporting the country's national digital inclusion policies. The satellite communication services will be based on the Qianfan Constellation, with Yuanxin Satellite planning to launch commercial services in Brazil by 2026. The services are expected to support critical infrastructure such as schools, hospitals, and rural areas, advancing the country's efforts in bridging the digital divide.
