TMTPOST -- Haier Smart Home has successfully completed the acquisition of Electrolux's South African water heater business. On December 2, Haier signed the relevant closing documents with Sweden's Electrolux Group in Johannesburg, South Africa. The deal, valued at 2.45 billion South African Rand (approximately 980 million RMB), marks a significant expansion of Haier's business in the South African market. The acquired business is known as Electrolux South Africa Proprietary Limited (ESA).
