Mercedes-Benz Announces Management Board Reshuffle for 2025
TMTPOST -- German automaker Mercedes-Benz has announced a significant reshuffle of its management board, set to take effect in 2025, with the addition of four new members. Sabine Kohleisen, Renata Jungo Bruengger, who oversees Integrity, Governance, and Sustainability, and Hubertus Troska, the board member for Greater China, will step down as their contracts conclude, the company stated on Wednesday. Olaf Schick, currently the Chief Financial Officer at car parts manufacturer Continental, is slated to join the board starting October 1, 2025. Additionally, Mathias Geisen, presently the Head of Mercedes-Benz Vans, and Oliver Thoene, the current head of Product Strategy and Steering, will join the management board. Meanwhile, existing board member Britta Seeger will assume Sabine Kohleisen’s responsibilities as the board member for Human Relations and Labour Director. The Stuttgart-based company described the changes as a move to strengthen its leadership team as it continues its strategic transformation in the automotive industry.
