Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co Ltd, the leading beverage producer in China, has totally 36 subsidiary companies covering 16 provinces or cities. Zong Qinghou, the founder and chairman of Wahaha Group, one of China’s largest beverage companies, passed away early this year. His death has raised questions about the future of Wahaha Group, the company he built into a household name, and its succession plan.
