TMTPOST -- Renesas Electronics Corportion plans to lay off hundreds of workers or less than 5% of its employees in Japan and beyond Japan due to a shrinking demand in the semiconductor market. Employees were informed of the decision by the end of 2024. The pay raise in the spring of 2025 will also be postponed.
