TMTPOST -- OpenAI announced on Tuesday that Adebayo Ogunlesi, CEO of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), has joined the company's board of directors. OpenAI stated that Ogunlesi will offer strategic advice to ensure the company secures the necessary infrastructure to advance its AI development. GIP, a private equity firm specializing in infrastructure, manages over $100 billion in assets and was acquired by BlackRock for $12.5 billion last year.
