TMTPOST -- Anthropic expects its revenue to reach up to $34.5 billion by 2027, as the AI startup races to compete with Microsoft-backed OpenAI, The Information reported on Wednesday. In its base case scenario, Anthropic forecasts $12 billion in revenue by 2027, up from $2.2 billion in 2025, according to the report. The company also told investors it expects to burn $3 billion this year, significantly lower than the $5.6 billion it spent in 2023. By 2027, Anthropic anticipates becoming cash-flow positive, the report added.
