TMTPOST – OpenAI is preparing to integrate its AI video generation tool, Sora, directly into ChatGPT, according to Rohan Sahai, the company’s product lead. Speaking at a recent conference, Sahai explained that Sora was initially launched as a standalone web application to maintain ChatGPT’s simplicity. However, OpenAI now aims to bring the tool into its flagship chatbot. Sahai also revealed that OpenAI is “very interested” in launching a standalone mobile app for Sora and is actively recruiting mobile developers for the project. Additionally, OpenAI is developing an AI image generator powered by Sora and working on an enhanced version of the tool called Sora Turbo, which promises even greater capabilities.
