TMTPOST -- Kingsoft Office has discreetly introduced a new feature called "WPS Lingxi" in the sidebar of its WPS Office suite. This feature enables AI-powered writing, reading, PPT creation, image generation, and more. It also incorporates an AI search bar, currently integrated with DeepSeek R1, supporting online searches and allowing users to directly create and edit documents from generated content. In addition to being accessible via the sidebar in the desktop version of WPS Office and the mobile app, WPS Lingxi also offers a standalone PC client, making its product form nearly indistinguishable from other AI search tools like Doubao and Yuanbao. WPS Lingxi is currently in its internal testing phase and is expected to be rolled out to all users in the near future. This move marks Kingsoft Office's latest effort to integrate advanced AI capabilities into its productivity tools, enhancing user experience and functionality.
