TMTPOST -- Cheng Yixiao, Founder and CEO of the Chinese short-video giant, announced that its AI-powered video creation tool Keling AI has become a new infrastructure for AI-era video production, securing its position as one of the world’s top two video-generating models alongside Google’s Veo 2—far ahead of other domestic competitors. Since its commercialization, Keling AI has generated cumulative revenue exceeding 100 million yuan (approx. $14 million) as of February 2025, making it the highest-grossing video-generating AI application in China’s open market. Unlike many other large AI models still in the experimental or free trial phase, Keling AI has taken an early lead in monetization—a strategic move aligned with Kuaishou’s pragmatic approach.
