TMTPOST -- Tesla has reduced its production targets for several Cybertruck assembly lines in recent months and reassigned a number of workers to other projects, according to employees familiar with the matter. Two workers told Business Insider that some Cybertruck lines are now operating at a fraction of their previous capacity, with certain production teams having been downsized by more than half. The adjustments come as the company continues to fine-tune its output of the much-anticipated electric pickup. Since January, Tesla has been gradually shifting some workers from the Cybertruck production line at its Gigafactory Texas facility to the Model Y line, according to four employees. The move suggests a strategic reallocation of resources as Tesla navigates demand and manufacturing challenges across its vehicle lineup.
