TMTPOST -- Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor is exploring plans to manufacture vehicles in Brazil as a strategic base to expand into surrounding markets, Chairman Wei Jianjun said Wednesday at the Shanghai auto show. Speaking in an interview, Wei downplayed concerns over U.S. tariffs on Chinese cars, saying the impact exists but is limited. “We’ve never exported at large scale to the U.S.,” he noted.
