(CATL) has filed a preliminary prospectus with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for a secondary listing, aiming to capitalize on strong investor interest in the electric vehicle sector and expand its access to international capital. While CATL has not disclosed the expected fundraising amount or the number of shares to be issued, analysts suggest the deal could become Hong Kong’s largest equity offering since Kuaishou Technology—ByteDance’s rival—raised $5.4 billion in its 2021 IPO.
