SMIC to Monitor Tariff Impact on Demand as Q2 Outlook Remains Uncertain, Says Co-CEO
TMTPOST -- Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) will keep a close watch on how tariffs affect customer demand, co-CEO Zhao Haijun said Friday, noting that visibility for the second quarter remains limited. In its financial results, the Chinese chipmaker forecast a revenue decline of up to 6% in the second quarter.
