China’s ZELOS Signs Joint Venture Deal with Emirates Post to Launch Autonomous Logistics Platform in Middle East
TMTPOST -- Chinese autonomous driving startup ZELOS has signed a joint venture agreement with the Emirates Post Group Company, aiming to build a regional autonomous logistics platform headquartered in the United Arab Emirates. The two companies will co-invest in a new joint venture focused on urban logistics services powered by Level-4 autonomous driving technology. The UAE-based entity will serve as a strategic base for future expansion across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the wider Middle East. As part of the development roadmap, the joint venture aims to secure regulatory approvals and vehicle licensing in the UAE by 2025, paving the way for a commercial launch in 2026. The initial phase of operations will focus on supporting Emirates Post’s internal delivery network, with plans to extend services to third-party customers as the platform scales.
