TMTPOST — Lu Weibing, Partner and President of Xiaomi Group, revealed that the company’s in-house designed 3nm flagship SoC chip, XRing O1, will be reserved exclusively for Xiaomi’s high-end flagship product line. Lu highlighted that the XRing O1 ranks among the world’s top-tier chips in terms of performance and user experience. “It’s our first attempt at building a 3nm flagship SoC,” he noted, “so we hope everyone will support and encourage Xiaomi in this bold step.” The XRing O1 is the first domestically developed 3nm flagship SoC in Chinese mainland, fabricated using a second-generation 3nm process. It packs 19 billion transistors, putting it on par with Apple’s A18 Pro.
