TMTPOST -- GAC Group has officially launched operations at its newly completed smart manufacturing facility in Jakarta, Indonesia, with the first mass-produced AION V rolling off the line. The facility marks GAC’s latest push into Southeast Asia’s EV market. Starting with an annual production capacity of 20,000 units, the company plans to gradually scale up to 50,000 units. The factory will support both pure electric and hybrid vehicle platforms, reinforcing GAC’s commitment to localized production and global expansion.
