TMTPOST -- OpenAI has appointed Mike Liberatore, the former finance chief at Elon Musk’s xAI, as its new business finance officer, a company spokesperson told Reuters on Tuesday. Liberatore, who departed xAI in July after a brief three-month tenure, will oversee OpenAI’s AI infrastructure and report directly to Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar. He will also collaborate with Greg Brockman’s team, which leads efforts to scale the company’s access to computing resources, the spokesperson said.
