NextFin News -- Germany's photovoltaic power generation in 2025 increased by 17.4% year-on-year to a historic high. According to data released by the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, the photovoltaic power generation in 2025 amounted to 70.1 billion kilowatt-hours, accounting for 16% of the country's total electricity generation. Both the generation volume and the percentage represent new records since relevant statistics was first collected in 2018. Germany's photovoltaic power generation has seen a year-on-year growth rate of over 10% for two consecutive years.
