NextFin News -- Tesla and LG Energy have signed a supply agreement to build a $4.3 billion lithium iron phosphate battery manufacturing facility in Lansing, Michigan. The batteries produced will be used in Tesla's Megapack 3 energy storage systems manufactured in Houston, with production expected to start in 2027.
