Oil Production in Southern Iraq Plummets by 80% Since Outbreak of Iran War
NextFin News -- Iraqi energy officials said on Wednesday that oil production in major fieldss of southern Iraq has fallen by 80% due to a de facto blockage of the Strait of Hormuz caused by the Iran war.
With storage capacity reaching critical levels and Iraq's incapability to export through the strait, the country has had to cut oil production.
