China's Solar Power Equipment Provider Laplace Wins Contracts from Tesla
NextFin News -- Laplace Technology, a core equipment and solution provider for photovoltaic cell manufacturing in China, has won the bid for the second phase of Tesla's photovoltaic project, with an amount of about 10 billion yuan. Sources indicated that Tesla plans to purchase photovoltaic manufacturing equipment from China worth a total of $2.9 billion. According to the performance report, Laplace is expected to achieve a revenue of 5.45 billion yuan and a net profit attributable to shareholders of 612 million yuan in 2025. It is estimated that this order will account for 183% of the company’s total operating revenue in 2025, contributing over 1.2 billion yuan in profit, which would represent a 2.12-fold increase compared to the net profit in 2025.
