TMTPOST — AliExpress has signed a memorandum of understanding with Brazilian Post to deepen strategic cooperation in Brazil that covers expansion of delivery to remote areas, enhancement of last-mile capabilities, and improvement of overall consumer experience. The partnership comes shortly after the Brazilian government canceled the federal import tax on cross-border goods valued under $50 in early May. AliExpress quickly adapted to the new tax policy and introduced weekly charter flight services, achieving leading cross-border customs clearance efficiency among e-commerce platforms in Latin America. This agreement is expected to significantly improve logistics performance and delivery speed for AliExpress in the Brazilian market. It positions the platform to better capitalize on growing demand for affordable imported goods while strengthening its competitive advantage in one of Latin America’s largest e-commerce markets.
