TMTPOST — Ride-hailing operator DiDi Global Inc. has partnered with Tencent Holdings Ltd. to integrate its core transportation network into the newly launched WeChat AI Agent platform, corporate sources confirmed on Tuesday. By linking its transit infrastructure directly with WeChat's conversational interface, the partnership enables users to hail DiDi Express, Premier, or discounted rides through simple text or voice commands. Following the initial rollout, developers plan to expand the integration to include hitch-hiking and designated driving services, making the entire transport portfolio accessible without navigating the standalone app. This integration highlights an expanding operational strategy among consumer platforms on the Chinese Mainland to anchor themselves within conversational ecosystems.
