Youzan Integrates with WeChat AI Ecosystem to Automate Merchant Operations
TMTPOST — E-commerce software provider Youzan has completed its technical integration into Tencent Holdings Ltd.’s new WeChat AI Agent testing ecosystem, delivering conversational business management tools to thousands of online merchants, corporate sources confirmed on Wednesday. The integration allows independent merchants across the e-commerce, traditional retail, and local lifestyle sectors to embed automated customer service and conversational sales features directly into their WeChat Mini-Programs. Additionally, Youzan has connected its intelligent business assistant, "Youzan Longxia," with WeChat's automated chat engine. This setup allows store owners to manage up to 80% of daily operational tasks—such as inventory tracking, order processing, and promotional setups—entirely through text commands within the messaging interface. This deployment highlights an expanding push among software-as-a-service providers on the Chinese Mainland to simplify digital commerce for small and medium-sized enterprises. By replacing complex backend control panels with intuitive chat-based automation, developer platforms are aiming to lower operating costs for merchants and maximize sales conversion rates within the WeChat ecosystem.
