Kimi Partnerships with State-Owned Bank to Launch First AI-Native Credit Card
TMTPOST — Artificial intelligence developer Moonshot AI has opened registrations for its new "Kimi Credit Card," branding the product as the world’s first physical credit card to integrate AI infrastructure into its core consumer rewards framework, according to a corporate product announcement on Friday. Under the newly unveiled financial model, cardholders will see standard consumer spending directly converted into specialized AI computing quotas. These accumulated rewards can be redeemed for autonomous Agent operational limits, premium software features, and priority beta access to the firm's frontier large language models. To support the project, the technology startup has entered into a strategic collaboration with a major Chinese state-owned commercial bank and an international card network, establishing a cross-sector framework where traditional credit card loyalty points and digital token usage structures are fully interchangeable. Corporate leadership stated that the three-way partnership represents an institutional exploration into technology-focused banking services. The initiative is structured to assist financial institutions in capturing high-value tech-sector consumer segments while marking Moonshot AI’s initial commercial expansion into physical retail environments, payment infrastructure, and daily consumer transaction workflows.
