Shouxing Tech Raises Hundreds of Millions of Yuan in Series A2 Round
TMTPOST — Bionic robotics developer Shouxing Tech completed a Series A2 financing round of several hundred million yuan on Tuesday to scale mass production lines and iterate its embodied artificial intelligence algorithms.
The funding round was co-led by CITIC Goldstone Investment and Geely Capital, with participation from CITIC Securities International Capital, Guotai Junan Innovation Investment, Junli Capital, Jingming Capital, and Jiaoyuan Capital. Existing shareholders China Internet Investment Fund and Shunwei Capital oversubscribed their allocations. Proceeds will be allocated across three primary areas: expanding the company's full-stack bionic product portfolio, constructing standardized commercial manufacturing facilities, and accelerating research into embodied intelligence algorithm models to expand industrial application deployment.
Commercializing humanoid and bionic hardware requires deep capital investments to resolve high component manufacturing costs and complex motion control software integration. Strategic backing from major automotive capital arms and sovereign funds highlights a growing trend of industrial capital integrating advanced robotics into smart manufacturing and automotive assembly environments. The successful equity raise underscores how venture capital is concentrating into specialized hardware startups capable of transitioning embodied artificial intelligence from laboratory prototypes into standardized industrial production.
