Meshy Raises Nearly $400 Million in Series B Round at Over 10 Billion Yuan Valuation
TMTPOST — Multimodal artificial intelligence firm Meshy completed a Series B funding round of nearly $400 million on Tuesday, pushing its post-money valuation past 10 billion yuan ($1.38 billion).
The landmark capital injection was co-led by IDG Capital, Matrix Partners China, and Monolith Management, alongside key strategic investors. Existing shareholders Granite Asia, Sequoia China, BAI Capital, and Source Code Capital also joined the syndicate. Proceeds from the transaction will be directed toward scaling continuous research and development for Meshy’s proprietary 3D multimodal foundation models while expanding commercial distribution channels across global enterprise software markets.
Venture capital allocations into generative 3D infrastructure reflect an accelerating push to streamline asset creation across game development, spatial computing, and digital twin environments. Creating high-fidelity 3D assets has historically represented an expensive, manual bottleneck within creative production pipelines. Capitalizing specialized 3D generative model developers enables industrial design studios and entertainment platforms to automate spatial content generation, lowering rendering costs while shortening product development timelines.
