Anfu Technology Announces Up to 150 Million Yuan Share Buyback Plan
TMTPOST — Energy storage and battery technology provider Anfu Technology announced on Wednesday that its board of directors approved a share repurchase plan valued between 100 million yuan and 150 million yuan ($13.8 million to $20.7 million).
The share repurchases will be executed through centralized bidding on the open market over a three-month period from the date of board approval. According to the company's exchange filing, the maximum repurchase price has been capped at 76.64 yuan per share, with all acquired shares designated to stabilize market valuation and protect long-term shareholder equity.
Corporate equity repurchases serve as a strategic signaling mechanism for publicly traded companies navigating equity market fluctuations and perceived asset undervaluation. When market sentiment diverges from underlying corporate fundamentals, dedicated buyback programs allow listed firms to deploy surplus balance sheet cash, enhance per-share financial metrics, and bolster investor confidence. Anfu Technology's swift capital deployment illustrates how mid-cap industrial firms leverage targeted open-market purchases to stabilize stock performance and optimize capital structure efficiency.
