TMTPOST — Alibaba’s Qwen team on Wednesday made its third-generation image-generation model Qwen-Image-3.0 fully available to all users on the Qwen AI platform. Both the flagship Qwen-Image-3.0-Pro and standard Qwen-Image-3.0-Standard variants opened API access the same day, with text-to-image pricing starting at RMB0.18 per image. Overseas developers can reach the service through Qwen Cloud. The model accepts prompts up to 4.5k tokens and generates complex, information-dense layouts—including multi-panel infographics, nested user interfaces, newspapers and exam papers—in a single pass, while rendering text as small as 10 pixels and supporting native output in 12 languages. The release shifts emphasis from pure visual appeal toward practical utility for design, education, e-commerce and content workflows. Qwen-Image-3.0-Pro has already entered the public Text-to-Image Arena near the top of Chinese models, reflecting gains in text rendering, commercial design and layout fidelity over the prior generation.
